The New York Chronicles: Life of an OC Girl in NY
Entry 33
Hello out there!! 10 days into the new year and I must say the year is starting out great.
It snowed again today--7 inches I hear. It's about 24 degrees outside. Brrr... I know.
I don't think I've showed you all the view from my bedroom window at night. Well, let me just show you a few pictures.
I could never get tired of this.
Here's a close up of the Empire State Building in the Christmas spirit.
On to other photos!
This is what winter in New York looks like when it's not snowing. No leaves.
This is the door I see on a weekly basis.
I'm also hangingProud. Go to this site and look for this photo on there.
I didn't update about my time in California yet. Well, let's say I felt sooooo much love! Thank you to everyone who made me feel so. Maybe I should stay away more often. Haha.
I've always watched movies and saw people going "home" for the holidays. Now I know how it feels. It did feel like I was going "home." It didn't feel like home in the same sense as it used to because while I was there, New York felt like my home. But my heart was left in California and will always be there and will always be my home in that sense. It will be again when I move back. I have the comfort of knowing that I've firmly planted my roots there and my loved ones will always be there. *tear*
Here are some photos of the week.
These are the first people I saw when arriving in California. ThaoVu strikes again. She set up our great photoshoot. Check out all the photos here.
Trying my best to be sexy like Anh and Cuzzie.
Party time! Check out the party pics here.
More friends and family throughout the week!
And then home sweet home.
