  • The New York Chronicles: Life of an OC Girl in NY - Entry 44

Anne Mangatar Hi hello, friends! Thanks for those who commented, but I wasn't surprised at all that you all love me and are big fans of my day to day life stories. I'm still wondering who the others are... like the ones from other states and stuff. LOL.

Anyway... I've been soooo busy with the other websites that I've barely got time to work on my personal blogging so I'm going to try to catch up as much as I can so that I can tell you all about my birthday week!

I turned 28 on April 19th, but I really celebrated my heart out. It was so fantamazingly awetabulous! My loved ones sure know how to make a girl feel extra special on her birthday. Thank you, alll!

Okay! So let's continue on my adventures in NYC. In this blog:

    • Quang Visits NYC
    • Sonya, Adam, Anne, and Dan go to Washington DC for the National Cherry Blossom Festival

    Pictures galore!!!

Let's start with Quang's visit. Quang was here for a short while, but it was a shame that I was sick for most of the time he was here. I forced myself to go out one night just for Quang. Dan, on the other hand, went out every single night even though he had work. Haha. He's my party animal soldier. I only have photos of the night I went out with Quang.

Here we are at Therapy or as Quang would say... Hottest Gay Club in NYC... haha.

We met Jen at a place called Pops Burgers which I thought was a very cool atmosphere.

Our latest trip was a beautiful getaway to the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. It's my third time there and tis truly a great city! We went the week of the blossoms peak season when they are fully in bloom. Cherry blossoms only grow for a short period of time every year so we made sure to go during the weekend of April 4-5. DC also hosts parades, food festivals, activities, and all sorts of family fun things to do.

Poor Sonya. Adam forgot to pack her underwear so we went shopping for underwear, but it was too expensive so we went to CVS where she bought the ginormous granny panties. Literally, the waist band rested right below her boobs. HAHA! Note to self: always pack underwear. Do not rely on husband.

Adam and Sonya have all the great photos from their awesome cameras so you'll have to bear with me and look at my mediocre stuff.

Adam and Dan had a bet going on to see who could finish the last of the food. We were all so full so watching them scarf down the rest of the meal made us want to hurl.
