  • Finishing Up My NY Chronicles: Entry 10

So if you’ve been following along, Dan and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary on October 7th. We had lunch together that day by his work just so that we could do something, but we really celebrated last night. He made a reservation at Yamashiro in Hollywood. He picked it for the view of LA. Sorry for the bad quality of these photos. They’re from our phones.

We had a yummy dinner with a view.

Wanna know what we did last year for our 3rd year anniversary? We were in New York City still. Last year I booked a dinner cruise on the Hudson River so that we could enjoy the Manhattan skyline.

It was so windy outside that we took a few pictures and ran back inside. Haha.

Hey! I just realized I ordered salmon again this year! Haha. I must love me some salmon.

    The View

Yes, we could have celebrated Saturday night but we decided to go see Kaskade for Amy’s birthday and had a blast! It was an awesome weekend.

Last September we had our last set of visitors, Thaoie, Rob, Anh, and Duy. Notice I said “set” of visitors. Thaoie and Robert had an amazing engagement photo shoot taken in New York at several cool spots taken by Duy (Thaoie’s partner) and Nam. Other than the day of engagement photos, the rest of the time we had so much fun!

Great photos from Thao Vu Photography huh! Man, the photos really make me miss calling NYC my home… badly.

Duy’s favorite! The Halal Food Cart by our apartment on 1st and 11th.

    Thaoie got some shopping in!

    Having fun with the girls…

    The boys!

Bustin’ the “Single Ladies” dance with my back up dancers. LOL

Havin’ some more Halal Cart food! Yuuuuummmm….

I also got to see some family! Thomas’ family flew in to NYC to attend his white coat event.

Awww… I miss my little brother.

Tired and hungry after Thaoie and Rob’s photoshoot…

Got in some partying time! oooooh yeeeaaaaahhhhh!!!!!

    She loves me…

    Check out those muscles!

Yeah… it was no t shirt time!

You can tell peeps are gettin’ buzzed… haha.

The rain didn’t spoil our fun!

The night didn’t end for hours to come but I don’t have the photos for the rest of the night. The boys had a grand ol’ time. They told us they were going to get some Halal Cart food but didn’t come back for 3 hours and had all these crazy stories. Haha.

Stay tuned for more NYC adventures… I’m almost caught up and then it will be the end of the NYC Chronicles. Sigh….
